ABOUT THE AUTHOR
In the middle of a successful career in Silicon Valley’s high tech industry, Sally Wolfe began a serious study of Thomas Merton’s work which led her on an unexpected journey—visiting and spending time in Benedictine and Trappist monasteries across the U.S. to discern a possible new life path.
The story of Consolations represents the author’s attempt to explore the perennial impulse of the spiritual search, and grapple with the issue—and the suffering—of a divided heart, viewed through the lens of monastic life.
Ms. Wolfe currently works as marketing communications and editorial consultant for authors and entrepreneurs, and lives in Santa Cruz, California. She is working on her second book, The 4 Demons of Authorship.
